Meet the Team

Hi im Gilly, and I've been touted as possibly the greatest player to play for the Essex Blades. I thought my career would kick off when i made the NFL draft list, but unfortunately a serious injury postponed my arrival to dominate the game in America. now im fully fit and recovered, and the Essex Blades are all excited for my long anticipated return!

Hi, I'm Phillip Casson. The rest of the team call me “Casson” though because they're inventive when it comes to nicknames. I've been playing for 5 years and play wide receiver, which basically means I run and then try to catch the ball thrown at me. This year however I want to play corner and stop someone else trying to catch the ball. Hello.

My name is Oli Rahman I play on the offensive line primarily as a
left guard. My main jobs on the field are to protect the quarterback
from linebackers and defensive line-men on pass plays and to create
openings for running backs on run plays. One of the downsides of
playing offensive line is hardly ever touching the ball but definitely
one of the best parts of being an offensive line-man is being able to
knock defensive players to the ground.
