Meet the Coaches
We would like to introduce the Coaching staff for the Essex Blades team 2011/2012:
Steve Montgomery - Offensive Coordinator
Mark Gilbranch - Linebacker Coach
Karl Bourke - Defensive Coordinator
Alex Robinson - Special Teams Coordinator
Alex joined the team in 2006. After a string of injuries he gave up playing for a more relaxing position on the side line as Special Teams Coordinator.
Adam Burrows - Head Coach
Adam joined the team back in 2006 where he became a familiar face both on Special Teams and the Offensive Line. He played for the Blades for 4 seasons and was given the task of coaching special teams.
He was voted in as President of the Essex Blades in his second year, before becoming the Exec Advisor in his third and has also served as Treasurer to both the Blades and University Sports Federation.
Adam is now Head Coach after Neil O'Hare stepped down at the end of the 2010-11 season.
